English Training on Monday

####Experience####
----------------------In the morning---------------------------------------
After introducing himself and his family, William, our english teacher in this week, told us that the goal of the english training classes is not to teach us english, but teach us how to use our english. So at the begining of today's class, all of us made a promise that "I promise I will only speak english in this week".
He then pointed out the importance of an english name for us and asked all of us to stand up and play a game called "who got the most names".
All of us could go around in the classroom to ask each other student at least two questions, the first must be "what's your name" , the second one can be anything else, like"what's your favorite color?" or "how old are you". But one should not ask different people the same question, and if somebody ask a question that others has asked you, you must say: "someone already knows it", and this guy should change a question to ask you. In the limited time, who can get the most names and questions is the winner.
When the game was over, we figured out that the most weird question would be "do you think it is really hard to think and ask the next question?"
Before lunch, our 25 people seperated into 3 groups(teams)and each group chose an animal as the team name. My team's name is Tigers, and the names of the other two are Dragons and Foxes.

-------------------In the afternoon------------------------------------------
The other two english teachers Deb and Joy joined us.
We played games outside on a playground under a shadow.
(1)throw tennie balls
Each team gathered round and people who hold the tennie ball, should speak loudly that"I'm ...(name), and I throw the ball to ...(name)" and then throw the ball to the guy whose name he/she just said.  It's easy at the beginning, but with more and more balls adding in the game, we always missed catching the balls. To make the game more interesting and exciting, William set a rule that who missed the ball should be out and the last person left is the winner.
(2)the smallest area
We 9 members in a team should stand up in a area rounded by a rope at the same time and last at least 7 seconds to make sure that the one of each one's feet is inside the area and the other foot should be hanged up in the air, never touch the ground in the process. The smaller of the area, the better.  The group that can do the job in a smallest area is the winner.
(3)nuclear waste
A red bucket ,filled with water and surrounded by a rope is as a nuclear waste station. A team should try to use 3 ropes and a hook to move the red bucket to a blue one and pour the water into it.  During the process, we should make sure nobody is close to the red bucket and no water spills out for "nuclear waste" has radiation and can kill thousands of people's life with just small quantities to leak.

During a heated discussion when we were back to classroom,  we concluded what we had learned from the team games and what are important for teamwork.
cooperation, good communication,a good leader, brief and persistent, a common goal, creation and imagination, many ideas and so on?

After that, we played ballons stomp(Oh yeah, we tigers won!) and played "guess the words".

---------------In the evening---------------------------------------------------
Learned how to play American cards
(1)Phase Ten
(2)UNO ---which means "one" in spanish

blablabla~
